About

My research interests are:
Innovation and technology management, sustainability and process optimization.

I started working with the Dhillon School of Business in:
2013

I am passionate about:
Sports, lifestyle and health management and parenting in the 21st century.

My biggest fear is:
Environmental apocalypse: What if the environment gets uncontrollable?

If I had to eat one food for the rest of my life it would be:
Veggie-rich, low-fat omelet with brown fiber-rich toast! :)

The best advice I have ever received is:
Life is too short to take any criticism seriously!

One thing I will never do again is:
Buy a hydrocarbon-fueled car.

My perfect day looks like:
An hour of workout, a healthy breakfast, lots of positive communication with colleagues and students, have a long walk after work and relax!

Book(s) I recommend:
For business category, I suggest the book "The Firm" by Duff McDonald, and for non-business I would suggest the title "When breath becomes air" by Paul Kalanathi and Abraham Verghese.

Will the new generation of students get a proper appreciation of the value of "time"?
In my opinion, this is a difficult question to answer. On one hand, the younger generation has always had the perception of invincibility, which we all know is not accurate and on the other hand, our collective understanding of human machine and rules of longevity is improving by day. Will we be able to reverse the aging process, improve our cognitive abilities of mankind and overcome the threat by AI? This seems to be a more probable.
